Der Admin des LDAP-Servers ist beim Mittag oder hat gerade keine Lust die Audit-Logs herauszugeben. Oder es stehen Requests von hunderten von Servern auf dem Server ein und die Analyse geraet zum Nadel im Nadelhaufen suchen.

Gibt es einen Grund, warum Du nicht einfach ins Query Log von Deinem LDAP-Server schaust?

Im Prinzip hast du recht, aber teilweise sind Admins ein wenig störisch, wenn man an ihre Audit-Logs will (oder die Admins schlicht in samt und sonders in ein Meeting verschwunden). Da ist dann sowas doch ganz praktisch.
